151][GALLERY is pleased to announce an exhibition of new works by Brussels based artist Tim Grosvenor. Over several years Tim has been working using ice and other materials such as carbon and paint to generate a series of pieces under the umbrella title of ‘The Carbon Age’. Although the pieces are fundamentally of an artistic nature the inspiration for the work stems from his deeply held convictions about environmental issues and sustainable development; The most recent pieces are all under the title of ‘The Shape of Things….’, a reflection on what maybe to come. These are all made using ice and pigment.
Born in Madagascar in 1958, he has lived in the UK, France, Switzerland and now in Brussels, Belgium. He studied Fine Art at the University of Reading, UK where he obtained his degree. He has exhibited in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. His work can be found in private collections in Europe and the United States.
