Nava Waxman is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist. Her work ranges from paintings, drawings, and objects to performance. In her ongoing research she is focusing on the tension and complexity between inner perception and identification. Nava Explores works within her profoundly personal perceptions in relation to cultural and environmental elements.

Born in Israel, she received her BA in social science and communications from Open University in Tel-Aviv and she studied painting and drawing at the Toronto School Of Art. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows worldwide, it has been featured in numerous publications and is held in numerous public and private collections.
